The MEP stated that Bulgaria is facing quite serious internal and international problems. Such facts also complicate our work as MEPs, because we made every possible effort to stop the monitoring of Bulgaria”, commented Yotova.
She pointed out that the BSP has a lot of work to do in the coming months. “We are starting with the poll for BSP’s participation in the presidential elections, the advertising campaign will be conducted in a modern way to interest not only our members and sympathizers. Our ambition is to show the wider public that BSP can work with anyone and everyone is welcome to work for a common cause”, said Iliana Yotova. According to her, it is time for this cause to be put on the model that is ruling at the moment. My firm opinion and that of the leadership is that the mandate of this government and of this National Assembly is exhausted, there is no way not to go to early elections, she added. We need not only to stabilize the structures, but also to expand them, to find those people whose trust is worth fighting for and we have a new vision of where Bulgaria should go, Iliana Yotova emphasized.
The press conference was also attended by People’s Representative Dimitar Dimitrov, the regional chairman of BSP – Pazardzhik Yordan Mladenov and the municipal chairman of BSP – Pazardzhik Gurko Mitev.
