The Kremlin is especially concerned about Armenia’s rapprochement with the United States. Solovyov, live on his talk show, began to assure that Iran would not tolerate this.
“For Iran, the appearance there (in Armenia – ed.) not of Russia, but of America is just a terrible blow. I won’t be surprised that Iran will react so harshly that Pashinyan will be very surprised“, said the Russian propagandist.
But he didn’t stop there. Solovyov began to threaten with occupation not only Armenia, but also Georgia.
“And it would be even better if it blazes in Georgia and then in Armenia. And we will have land roads to Iran. This time we will not stop in Tbilisi! If they set fire to the South Caucasus, we will have no other option, we will be forced to go to the end, this will be a completely different level of hostilities“, the propagandist threatened.
Today, when the Russian army in the war in Ukraine demonstrated to the whole world its weakness and lack of modernity, such threats look ridiculous. The Russian Federation currently does not have the strength to fight a new war, and even against two countries. Moreover, Moscow cannot even maintain its influence on the once-allied Armenia.
