Kremlin Confirms Zelensky’s Unwritten Message to Putin via Jokowi

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the Ukrainian President’s unwritten message Volodymyr Zelensky to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin delivered via the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

The Kremlin is the center of the Russian regime in Moscow.

Quoting from the Russian news agency, TASSPeskov told reporters he did not elaborate further on Zelensky’s unwritten message.

“It’s not a written message. That’s all I can say to you,” Peskov said last Friday (1/7).

The day before, Jokowi made a state visit to Russia after coming from Ukraine. During the state visit to the Red Bear Country, Jokowi held a bilateral meeting with Putin and held a joint press conference afterwards.

Jokowi claimed he had conveyed a message from Zelensky to Putin during the bilateral meeting. Jokowi also expressed his intention to help dialogue between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders.

Previously, Zelensky’s spokesman, Sergey Nikiforov, said that if his leader wanted to send a message to Putin, there was no need for an intermediary, because it could be done directly through a public speech.
