Barbora Krejčíková she played her second and biggest WTA final ten days ago in Dubai and today she also confirmed her form in her premiere performance in the main competition of the prestigious WTA 1000 in Miami.

In her first match as a Top 50 player, the 25-year-old Czech won 6-1 3-6 6-3 with Russia three years younger Annou Blinkovovou and in all 14 tournaments since last year’s restart of the season, she managed to enter the competition.

Krejčíková won the first five games of the match and had three breakballs at 6-1, 1-0 and 40-0. At that moment, however, the Russian opponent began to play the bait and returned to the game.
