Successful Czech braces Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova once again passed the US Open. The two 26-year-olds won the New York final on Sunday against Catherine McNally / Taylor Townsend (USA) 3-6, 7-5, 6-1. For Krejcikova and Siniakova it is already the sixth Grand Slam title together.
This year Krejcikova / Siniakova, number two and one in the world doubles ranking since Monday, had already won trophies at the Australian Open and Wimbledon. In 2021 Krejcikova had also managed to triumph in Paris in both singles and doubles.
