Kreiss has currently delivered 70 Ford Trucks F-Max cars and a total of 110 are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
By November, ZK9 has delivered a total of 77 Ford Trucks F-Max tractors to customers in Latvia. By the end of this year, ZK9 plans to register up to 140 Ford Trucks in Latvia.
In the spring of this year, receiving the right to represent Ford Trucks in Latvia, ZK9 created a fleet of test cars to give to potential customers for testing. In the first half of the year, trade performance has been better than in the immediate neighborhood.
Selim Jazici, Ford Trucks’ regional manager for Central and Eastern Europe, says Kreiss’s order is one of the largest in the region. “This is one of the largest fleet orders in the region, but I am sure that others will follow soon. Latvia is already approaching the 7% market share mark, but in some countries we have even 10% market share, and our market share is improving every year,” he said. Jazichi.
Kreiss and ZK9 have the same owners.
Sergei Zelizko, a member of the board of Kreiss, says that Ford Trucks F-Max cars were little known in the European market, so it was a difficult decision to place such a large order.
“We may have started with a small number of cars in the beginning, but we took a risk and now we are confident that we have made the right choice,” says Zelizko.
Raugulis points out that “ZK9” will definitely continue to work with test cars. It is planned to purchase new test cars next spring.
