Ulrike Dostal takes on the title role in Georg Kreisler’s one-woman musical. The story revolves around a Jewish actress who has to flee her native Austria in March 1938 after the annexation to Nazi Germany. Via detours she reaches the USA, where she attains a certain fame as a singer and sex symbol. But she never really arrives in the new world. After the end of the war she returned to Austria – but her homeland has also become alien to her…
