For a long time, the nervousness in the Krefeld Ravens camp was not as great as it is now. The atmosphere is somewhat reminiscent of the first game in the club’s history after a year of training in 2018. But unlike back then, the nervousness is less related to the sport. The team is ready, which is shown not least by the convincing 81-0 test victory in Bürstadt. No, it’s mostly anticipation. Most recently, on September 14, 2019, a real “Ravens Gameday” took place. Accordingly, fans and officials are eagerly awaiting the game against the Münster Mammuts on Saturday at 3 p.m. (BSA Sprödental).

“We will go one step further at all levels. For example, there will be a large LED video board at the edge of the field. Our stream runs parallel to this. This means that viewers can also enjoy slow motion, see the score and so on,” explains Ravens Managing Director Christoph Wittfeld one of the major innovations. But the club’s own stream itself will also be upgraded again. “Our media team went one step further and prepared a lot. It’s going to be a real board,” adds club founder Dino Volpe with palpable anticipation.
