Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks in Minsk will not take part in the consultations of the political subgroup until the OSCE moderator in the TCG Heidi Grau achieves the exclusion from the negotiations of the “public expert” from the “DPR” Maya Pirogova, convicted in Ukraine for terrorism. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian delegation Leonid Kravchuk in air TV channel Ukraine 24.
“I wrote to our OSCE moderator, Mrs. Heidi Grau, with a request that such a person cannot take part in negotiations and have a separate window for negotiations … The Ukrainian delegation has already demonstrated its position: as soon as this person appears at the negotiations, we will not even explain why, but we are leaving the negotiations for the period until Heidi Grau achieves her exclusion from the negotiation process. Our delegation leaves the negotiations until this is done, “Kravchuk said.
He added that “he does not know if Pirogova will appear at the next meeting of the political working subgroup of the TCG, since opponents of the Ukrainian delegation reported that Pirogova was ill and cannot yet attend the consultations.”
