Krassimir Dachev: We agreed not to worsen gas prices by June next year

We, the entrepreneurs, have been talking about measures since June last year. At the moment when some emotional restrictions began, sanctions to break some long trade relations – I mean the first sanctions against Russia. The problem is only getting worse. This was explained in “Speak Now” by Krassimir Dachev, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Currently, the largest port in the world – Rotterdam is completely closed because military supplies are being unloaded there. Supply chains are very confused, it will take months, years to find an alternative, he added.

Many of the companies dealing with metals are starting to go bankrupt and sell off. So our idea last June was to prevent that. Do not reduce industrial production, Dachev explained.

Regarding the government’s measures, he explained:

There are also some of our suggestions. We agreed on the prices for May-June and during the next price period, which the EWRC decides – until June 31 next year, the conditions will not be worse.

According to Dachev, the political speeches of European and Russian politicians on the topic of gas supplies are confused.

This is a political theater for which we suffer, and people suffer, Dachev believes.

He admitted that as a businessman he had not felt comfortable for a year because of the inability to plan.
