Krasnodar Midfielder João Batchi Denies Transfer Rumors, Confirms Commitment to Club

Football agent Eduardo Marinho, who represents the interests of Krasnodar midfielder João Batchi, said that his client does not intend to leave the Kuban club.

24-year-old Batchi moved to Krasnodar in September from Chaves for 1.5 million euros. The Angolan’s contract with the Russian club runs until June 2025.

– Will Butchi leave Krasnodar? I don’t understand where this kind of talk comes from. It’s only November, what’s the point of talking about it? “I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, and you are asking about an even later time,” Marinho said “RB Sport”.

As previously reported by Kuban News, the football clubs Krasnodar and the Portuguese Chaves formalized the transfer of Batchi in early September. The 24-year-old midfielder signed a contract with the Bulls until the end of June 2025. Batchi also plays for the Angola national team. In September 2021, he played two matches in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.

Earlier, the Angolan striker of Krasnodar João Batchi spoke about the possibility of obtaining Russian citizenship.

Batchi also commented on the information about Spartak’s interest in him.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates the footballer’s value at 3.5 million euros.
