“Krasnodar Athletes Excel at Sports Acrobatics Competitions in Volgograd”

Competitions were held in Volgograd from 16 to 22 May.

More than 300 athletes aged 14 and older from 24 regions competed for medals. The team of the Krasnodar Territory included 40 people.

Competitions were held in balance exercises in triples and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, fours and men’s doubles.

Vice-governor Alexander Vlasov noted that thanks to professional training and a strong coaching staff, Kuban athletes annually demonstrate high results in competitions at various levels.

“Now more than 5 thousand people are engaged in sports acrobatics in the region, more than 40 athletes are part of the national team of the country,” Vlasov said.

The Kuban national team has 14 medals – 7 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze. An excellent result was shown by the Krasnodar athletes in the “triples”. “Gold” won Valeria Zarovnaya, Daniela Rubanova, Valeria Kuznetsova. “Silver” Varvara Gracheva, Daria Voloshchenko and Sofia Polishchuk.

In the “fours” the first places were taken by our athletes: Daniil Bermeshev, Daniil Vyuterikh, Pavel Andreev, Daniil Leontiev. Bronze medals in the asset Vladimir Naidenko, Roman Chernyatin, Daniil Gudimov and Daniil Kuzmin, the press service of the regional administration.
