Krasnodar advances to the second stage of FONBET Cup of Russia 2022/23 after defeating Akron Togliatti on penalties

In the match of the first stage of the final of the FONBET Cup of Russia 2022/23 (lower bracket), Krasnodar beat Akron Togliatti at home.

For 90 minutes, the teams failed to open an account. The winner was determined by a series of post-match penalties, in which the Krasnodar players won (4:2). Accurate blows marked Eduard Spertsyan, John Cordoba, Ilzat Akhmetov and Joao Batchy.

Thus, the “bulls” reached the second stage of the finals of the Path of Regions, where they will play “Ural” for the right to enter the Superfinal of the tournament.

The final match of the Russian Cup will take place on June 11 in Moscow at the Luzhniki stadium. CSKA became the first finalist of the tournament.
