The “Riga” team lost to the Russian Youth Hockey League (MHL) in Riga on Saturday. The Latvian team in Pinki lost 1: 4 (0: 1, 0: 1, 1: 2) to Moscow’s “Krasnaya Armiya”, which won the 17th consecutive victory. The guests gained a two-goal lead, which was reduced by Nikita Matejko 1: 2 in the 50th minute after the rebound. However, the victory was for the guests.

After one season, the head coach Raimonds Vilkoits has returned to the coaching corps in the Riga “Dinamo” team. The calendar of MHL season 13 envisages that each team will play 64 games in the main tournament (32 at home, 32 away). The “Riga” team plays in the Western group, which has 17 teams and only the top eight enter the playoffs.
