KPN will implement a price increase for its internet subscriptions as of 1 July. This is an average of 1.90 euros per month. The price of the gigabit subscription does not change. From now on, customers will also receive 10GB of cloud storage. Prices at XS4ALL will change as of 1 September.
The price increase is necessary according to KPN to ‘guarantee the quality of the network in the future’. The provider states that the use of the network has increased enormously, but that it is ‘despite that’ it concerns a ‘moderate price increase’. In the course of May, customers will receive a personal message about the price increase.

All KPN Internet customers will have access to KPN Cloud† KPN gives subscribers 10GB of storage space and there is an app for Android and iOS smartphones and for macOS. The service has the option of ‘Drive’ for saving and sharing files, ‘Text’ for working on documents, ‘Spreadsheet’ for Excel documents and ‘Presentation’ for creating PowerPoint documents.
As a result of the change, customers will become contract-free and can cancel their subscription free of charge until June 30. Prices at XS4ALL will increase as of 1 September. The Giga and Pro plans do not increase in price.
Four PSTN and VoIP subscriptions are 1 euro per month more expensive. This concerns the BelBasis and BelVrij subscriptions. The call rates, Digitenne subscriptions and other services do not change in price, KPN writes.
Competitor Ziggo has not yet announced a price increase. However, the cable provider only announced a speed increase at. In recent years, this was always accompanied by a price increase a few weeks later.
