Lukas Enembe’s party requests permission to travel to Singapore for treatment
The KPK has sent a second summons to Lukas Enembe. However, lawyer Lukas Enembe said his client could not come because he was ill and hoped to be treated abroad.
Lukas Enembe’s personal physician Anton Mote explained his patient’s condition. Anton said Lukas Enembe has had a stroke since 2015.
“Yes, one of them has a stroke, unable to speak. It’s since 2015,” said Anton at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, on Friday (9/23/2022).
Anton said Luke Enembe couldn’t speak. Luke’s condition is also deteriorating, Anton said. Anton said Lukas often went to Singapore for treatment. He said Lukas Enembe’s condition was worsening due to pressure from the alleged corruption case.
“He’s not new to Singapore, he’s always been there, so he’s not new. So if he wants to go, it’s not because he’s running away from problems, no. Pure treatment,” explained Anton.
“We hear that the excessive hoaxes in Indonesia are really crazy. Hoaxes here and there. The real pressure isn’t that I’m not doing it. The psychological pressure is pretty high, the stress is getting higher,” he continued.
