Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) hinted at immediately announcing the suspect in the alleged criminal act of corruption in the distribution of social assistance rice (social assistance).
The social assistance rice is distributed to beneficiary families of the 2020-2021 family hope program at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).
Head of Reporting Section Ali Fikri confirmed that KPK investigators were conducting a search at the Ministry of Social Affairs office today, Tuesday (23/5). According to Ali, this activity was carried out in order to collect and complete evidence in the alleged corruption case.
“In time, we will convey the parties who have been named suspects. The construction of this case is complete and complete, including the articles that were applied,” said Ali in his statement, Tuesday (23/5).
Ali then ensured that the KPK would continue to work and carry out the investigation into this case. He also asked the public to wait for further explanation which will be conveyed by them later.
“We will convey the progress of the intended activity after ensuring that the entire process has been completed by the KPK investigation team,” he said.
Previously, the KPK reportedly named former TransJakarta Main Director Kuncoro Wibowo a suspect in the 2020-2021 social assistance rice distribution corruption case.
A CNNIndonesia.com source at the KPK said that Kuncoro Wibowo, who had recently resigned from the chair of TransJakarta CEO, had become a suspect.
“M Kuncoro Wibowo to be exact. Sprindik [Surat Perintah Dimulainya Penyidikan] rose in February,” said the source.
Ali Fikri did not deny the news. He only stated that this case originated from a public complaint which was followed up by the KPK.
