Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) prevented two people from traveling abroad in the investigation of the alleged bribery case in the Supreme Court (MA).
The two people have the status of witnesses on behalf of Windy Yunita Ghemary, finalist for Indonesian Idol 2014 and a private party, Dadan Tri Yudianto.
“For the purposes of the investigation process, it is true that at this time the KPK has prevented two people from traveling abroad,” said Head of KPK Reporting Section Ali Fikri at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Thursday (19/1).
Ali stated that the two people had knowledge of the case being investigated. He asked them to attend whenever summoned by KPK investigators.
“KPK hopes that both of them will be present cooperatively for every summons scheduled by the investigation team,” he said.
Sub-coordinator of Public Relations of the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration Achmad Nur Saleh confirmed that his party had received requests for prevention for the two people for six months.
“On behalf of Windy Yunita Ghemary and Dadan Tri Yudianto, they have been included in the list of prevention proposals from the KPK, valid from 12 January 2023 to 12 July 2023,” said Achmad.
The KPK has named 13 people as suspects in the alleged bribery case at the Supreme Court. The KPK continues to examine witnesses to complete the case files for the suspects.
Today, the KPK inspected the members of PD Pasar Jaya Rosario de Marshall alias Hercules.
The suspects in this case include non-active justices Sudrajad Dimyati and Gazalba Saleh; judicial judge and assistant to Gazalba, Prasetio Nugroho; Gazalba’s staff, Redhy Novarisza; judicial judge as well as substitute clerk for MA Elly Tri Pangestu.
Then civil servants at the MA Registrar, namely Desy Yustria and Muhajir Habibie; PNS MA Nurmanto Akmal and Albasri; lawyers Yosep Parera and Eko Suparno; as well as Intidana Heryanto Tanaka and Ivan Dwi Kusuma Sujanto Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) debtors.
The KPK suspects that there were bribes of around Sin$202,000 (equivalent to Rp. 2 billion) to handle the criminal and civil cases of KSP Intidana. All suspects have been detained by KPK investigators at different State Detention Centers (Rutan).
