Jakarta –
KPK postponed Dahlan Iskan’s investigation regarding liquefied natural gas (LNG) corruption at PT Pertamina. The former BUMN Minister asked for a postponement until next week.
The examination of Dahlan Iskan was originally scheduled for Thursday (7/9). However, Dahlan was unable to attend and asked to reschedule.
“The witness was not present and confirmed the rescheduling,” said the Head of Reporting KPK Ali Fikri told journalists, Friday (8/9/2023).
Ali said that the examination of witnesses to Dahlan Iskan would be carried out on Thursday (14/9) next week.
“The information we have received is that the rescheduling will take place on Thursday (14/9) next week,” said Ali.
In this case, the Corruption Eradication Commission has examined the former Managing Director of PT Pertamina (2014-2017) Dwi Soetjipto and the former Managing Director of PT PLN (2011-2014) Nur Pamudji on Thursday, June 30 2022. Former Pertamina Managing Director Karen Agustiawan was also prevented from going abroad by KPK in December 2022 to June 2023.
On June 23, 2022, the KPK said this case was still in progress. However, the KPK has not yet explained the details of the construction of the case. The KPK has also not announced who the suspects have been charged with.
“We have not been able to say who was later named a suspect. But in principle, of course, because this is an investigative process, we must have named the suspect,” said Head of KPK Reporting Unit, Ali Fikri at the time.
