Corruption Eradication Commission investigatorKPK) had met with the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini before searching the room at the Office Ministry of Social AffairsCentral Jakarta, Tuesday (23/5).

The Minister’s Special Staff for Communication and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa said that Risma also invited investigators to carry out their activities.

“Tell Mother information about today’s activities, yes it has been accepted,” said Don at the Ministry of Social Affairs office.

He said Risma did not accompany him because he had other activities. Risma had to attend a meeting because she was preparing for a work visit in a few days.

Don also explained that the search was carried out without disturbing the employee’s activities. According to him, there were a number of people who were questioned, but he did not know the exact number.

In addition, there are also a number of documents requested by KPK investigators.

“There were several people who were questioned and others, so it’s only natural,” he said.

The search at the Ministry of Social Affairs office today is related to the alleged corruption case in rice social assistance (bansos) in 2020.
