Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign of the Corruption Eradication Commission (NCP) (off) Giri Suprapdiono revealed a number of special rooms that were prepared during the interview process for employees who took part in the process of becoming state civil servants (ASN).
Giri later admitted that he found that 47 of the 75 employees who entered the room had not passed the assessment, including himself and Novel Baswedan. He said that most of the 47 employees who did not pass were interviewed in rooms 1, 2, and 3 out of a total of 30 rooms prepared.
“After we asked about these 75 employees, of the 75 who answered about 47 people who were asked they were interviewed in room number 2, 13 people,” said Giri at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Friday (4/6).
“From the arrangement of the room, it has been shown that people who pass are only in certain rooms even though there are 30 rooms,” he added.
In addition to the special room, a number of employees who did not pass, including himself, also took a relatively longer interview process than the other interviewees. From an average of 10 minutes of interview, he underwent the interview process up to 2.5 hours.
In fact, he said, before undergoing the interview process, Giri admitted that he had waited up to two hours in the room.
“The questions were also different. Some were asked for 10 minutes. Some were 2.5 hours. I even waited in an empty room alone before being interviewed for 2 hours,” he said.
Furthermore, he admitted that he was even more surprised when he was declared ‘red’ and could no longer be nurtured. In fact, a number of institutions, such as the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) and the National Police Anti-terror Detachment, claim to have succeeded in educating terrorists.
“People like me who teach anti-corruption for 16 years are labeled as being unable to be fostered. Terrorists can be fostered,” he said.
“DPR member Mr. Asrul said that terrorists by BNPT, by Densus can still be fostered. We were forced to take a test which only took how many hours, we were asked according to what was controversial, then we were declared to have to leave this institution,” he added.
Firli previously denied that he had targeted a number of employees through an assessment or national insight test (TWK). He admitted that he had no interest in doing that.
“What’s in my interest in making people’s lists?” said Firli to reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday (3/6).
