According to Arya, the case that happened to Budiman Saleh happened in 2017. At that time he was still serving at PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) or PT DI.
“So we from the Ministry of BUMN say this is a legal process that must be respected and we support all the steps that have been taken by the KPK to enforce the law,” said Arya.
Arya admitted that his party would continue to support the KPK to clean up state-owned companies.
“We have submitted everything to the KPK and we continue to support what the KPK is doing and the best steps for cleaning up in BUMN,” he said.
It is known, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) appointed the President Director of PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) Budiman Saleh in a case of alleged corruption in sales and marketing activities at PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) in 2007-2017.

Budiman is alleged to have received a flow of funds from the disbursement of the fictional partner’s work payment amounting to Rp 686,185,000.
Previously, KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pomolango said the meeting between KPK leaders and BUMN Minister Erick Thohir also discussed a number of potential corruption within BUMN.
However, Nawawi said Erick did not report corruption cases in BUMN as previously stated.
“Not specifically, it only mentions potential areas for corruption in a number of BUMNs,” said Nawawi, Wednesday (8/7/2020).
Nawawi said, the areas where corruption could potentially occur are in the procurement process, asset sales, or financial transactions.
According to Nawawi, the KPK will supervise these rooms and if necessary will initiate an investigation into the alleged corruption.
