KPK search the house Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The search was carried out at Syahrul’s official residence in the South Jakarta area.
“It’s true, there is activity there,” said KPK News Head Ali Fikri to journalists, Thursday (28/9/2023). Ali answered about the search at the Minister of Agriculture’s official residence.
The Corruption Eradication Committee has not detailed what evidence was found during the search. Ali said the search activities were still ongoing at this time.
“Activities are ongoing,” said Ali.
KPK Investigates Corruption in Ministry of Agriculture
It is known that the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) is investigating a case of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has asked a number of people for information regarding the case at the ministry currently led by Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
“So far, what we know is the correct stage of the process of requesting information from a number of parties regarding allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture,” said Head of the KPK News Division, Ali Fikri, to journalists, Wednesday (14/6).
“This is a follow-up to public reports received by the KPK so that the KPK then follows up on the law enforcement process,” added Ali.
Ali was reluctant to reveal more clearly what corruption allegations were being investigated. He said this case was still under investigation.
“Because we are still in the process of investigating, of course we cannot provide further information. We will immediately convey the developments,” said Ali.
