Kim Han-byul (24 years old), who has risen as a new star with two wins this year on the Korean Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour, will play with the SK Telecom logo next year.
SK Telecom announced that it has signed a main sponsor contract with Kim Han-byul.
The sponsorship period is 3 years.
SK Telecom is also a long-time sponsor of Kyungjoo Choi (50 years old), a pioneer in Korean men’s golf.
Kim Han-byul, who debuted last year, conquered the Hedges Golf KPGA Open and Shinhan Donghae Open in sequence this year, and rose to the 2nd place in the Grand Prize and 2nd place in the prize money rankings.
SK Telecom’s sports group leader Oh Gyeong-sik said, “We will continue to represent Korean professional golf after Choi Gyeong-ju and will provide our best support for success in the PGA.”
