Kozhikode student found dead; Suspected of being struck by lightning

Kozhikode: A student was found dead in Puyangadi in Kozhikode city. The first information is that he died from a lightning strike. Muhammad Asain (15), a 10th grade student of Karaparamp School, died.

Heavy rain and thunder poured into the area on Sunday evening. The boy was said to have been struck by lightning as he went to play on his bicycle after returning from school. Local residents saw the boy lying down and when he was taken to hospital he was already dead.

No serious injuries were found on the child’s body. Relatives informed that there was no disease.
