Kozak issued statements about the protection of Donbass by Russia and the beginning of the end of Ukraine

Deputy Head of Administration Vladimir Putin Dmitry Kozak believes that hostilities will most likely not be unleashed in the east of Ukraine. However, in the event that this happens, it will be “the beginning of the end of Ukraine”… Kozak also reminded about the desire of the Russian Federation to “defend Donbass”.

He announced this on Thursday, April 8, during press conferences… Kozak also called the actions of the Ukrainian authorities in Donbass a “PR-action”.

“The beginning of hostilities in Donbass will be the beginning of the end of Ukraine … Russia can stand up to protect the residents of Donbass, if forced,” Kozak said.

In Russia it is believed that the conflict in Donbass can be resolved in just a year in the event that the parties comply with the agreement. At the same time, Putin noted that Ukraine has the opportunity to recognize the Minsk agreements as invalid, and “no one forbids Kiev”. The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation also added that “there is no point in discussing the change of the Minsk site”.

Kozak said that negotiations in the “Normandy” format will take place on April 19 at the level of political advisers. He also added that Germany and France are allegedly not interested in resolving the conflict in Donbass.
