The Ministry of Health has commended King Hamad’s decision to provide free vaccines to citizens and foreigners in the country. It will be distributed through 27 medical centers across the country. The vaccine is available to anyone over the age of 18. The initial target is to vaccinate 5,000 people daily and then 10,000 people daily.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, announced yesterday that the Kovid vaccine will be provided free of charge to both nationals and foreigners in Bahrain.

The vaccine, developed by the American company Pfizer and the German company Bayonte, was recently approved by Bahrain. Bahrain is the second country in the world to allow this vaccine after Britain.
