No one from the UK has confirmed Kovid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, Kovid-19 has so far been confirmed for 94 people who recently came from the UK. Of these, 82 tested negative. A total of 11 people were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus.
During the last 24 hours, 62,769 samples were tested. The test positivity rate is 5.18. A total of 1,14,76,284 samples have so far been sent for testing, including routine sample, sentinel sample, CBNAT, Trunat, POCT PCR, RT LAMP and antigen testing.
Kozhikode 379, Kottayam 345, Malappuram 346, Ernakulam 335, Kollam 305, Pathanamthitta 236, Alappuzha 243, Thrissur 193, Kannur 133, Thiruvananthapuram 110, Kasaragod 100, Idukki 110, Wayanad 95 and Palakkad 49 were affected by contact. The disease affected 21 health workers. Health workers from Kannur 5, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode 4 each, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kasaragod 2 each, Pathanamthitta and Wayanad 1 each were affected.
49,420 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 10,05,497 people have so far been freed from Kovid. There are currently 2,11,044 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 2,03,729 are under home / institutional quarantine and 7,315 in hospitals. About 790 people were admitted to the hospital today.
