Riyadh: The Ministry of Health today announced that Kovid has confirmed 162 more people in Saudi Arabia. 10 deaths were also reported. In the last 24 hours, 156 people have recovered, officials said. With this, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 3010. Of these, 416 are in the intensive care unit. This brings the total number of cases in Saudi Arabia to 361010, the number of deaths to 6122 and the number of survivors to 351878.
A total of 10639645 Kovid tests were completed in the country including 33275 tests conducted last day. Riyadh province is at the top of the list with 40 confirmed candidates. The other provinces are Makkah 39, Madinah 30, Eastern Province 25, Azir 11, Al Qasim 5, Al Jawf 3, Najran 3, Tabuk 2, Jizan 1, Hail 1, Northern Region 1 and Al Baha 1. Today’s cure rate is 97.47 percent. A spokesman for the Ministry of Health said that 4 lakh people had registered for the corona vaccine. He said the precautionary measures will continue until 70 per cent of the people are vaccinated.
