Kovid for 5771 persons in the state; CM says situation requires extreme vigilance Kerala | Deshabhimani

Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid has confirmed 5771 deaths in the state today. 19 people have died. 72392 people are in treatment. 5228 people were infected due to contact. There are 410 cases where the source is not known. 45 health workers were affected by the disease.

“Given the experience of the last few days, Kovid cases and test positivity rates are coming up,” the chief minister told a news conference. At one point the number of patients was equal to or greater than the number of patients. The Chief Minister pointed out that despite the earlier increase, the number of patients is still higher than the number of patients.

It should be approached with utmost caution. It is estimated that there are 25,762 out of one million in Kerala. Its uniqueness is that it is higher than most states. At the same time our test per million is 265048. The number of tests we perform is higher than most states. But the government has decided to increase the Kovid tests. Kovid mortality is low. Out of one million, 104 people died in Kerala. This is very high even in our neighboring states.
