Koutsoumbas: The slogans of the Polytechnic today are translated into the everyday streets of the struggle –

“The slogans of the Polytechnic for “bread, education, freedom”, “out the USA, out NATO” are relevant, today they are translated in the everyday streets of the struggle of the Greek people, of the Greek youth for wage increases, for collective labor contracts, against great precision. Against state repression and the violence of the government and its mechanisms. They are in the fight against the government’s anti-educational policy, for the abolition of all anti-labor – anti-people laws. They translate into messages against the imperialist war, the US, EU, NATO alliance, for freedom in Palestine. Fifty one years later we are here and still going!” said the head of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas, during the course of the Polytechnic.

In response to a journalist’s question about the developments in the ND and the deletion, Samara said:

“We are in a phase of reformation, I would say better of restoration of the urban political system which touches, in addition to the social democratic parties that we saw in the past and today, namely SYRIZA and PASOK, now also the ND government. The point is for the Greek people, the Greek youth, to come more massively to the fore, questioning the dominant policy. The KKE will be in front of this fight”.
