On the recent episode of The Kardashians,” Kourtney opened up about the process she’s had to go through to conceive with fiancé Travis Barker.
“I think because I’m so clean and careful about what I put in my body, it’s like having a completely opposite reaction and it works as a contraceptive instead of helping us,” Kardashian explained during a confessional interview.
Method caused an early menopause
Kourtney, 43, indicated that her doctor was the one who took her to undergo the fertilization process, which she has not liked so far.
“I feel a little out of place, not like myself, super moody and hormonal. I’m a lunatic half the time,” the eldest of the Kardashians said on the Talk Show.

Experts spoke about the method used by Kourtney Kardashian
Dr. Jenna Turocy, fertility expert. at the Columbia University Fertility Center, indicated that this type of treatment sometimes overstimulates female hormones, which could lead to this type of syndrome.
“Side effects include pain or bruising at the injection sites, as well as hot flashes, feeling run down or irritable, headaches, restlessness or swelling. Many of these side effects are similar to the symptoms of menopause.”
Despite the adverse scenario, Kourtney is willing to have her fourth child, and the first with her current partner Travis Barker.
