The Barcelonawrites the Catalan newspaper ‘Sport’, is looking for a central defense for next season and has targeted the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The first goal – we read – was Matthijs de Ligt, but the high demands of Juventus – around 75 million euros – combined with a salary of over 10 million per season make the deal almost impossible. And given that Sevilla’s Koundè also travels on the same figures as regards the card, the Catalan club is concentrating on Koulibaly, linked to Napoli for another year of contract. The Neapolitan club – we read – asks for just over 40 million eurosbut from Catalonia they hope to lower the price in the summer by virtue of an expiring contract.
