Kostadinov: The conclusion of Denkov’s speech in the EP is: “Shame”

Kostadinov: Denkov’s speech is: Shame

Yesterday, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov participated in the “This is Europe” plenary debate of the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg – the conclusion, in one word, of his participation is “shame”, the chairman of the PG of “Vazrazhdane” said in a statement from the parliamentary rostrum Kostadin Kostadinov, quoted by BTA.

A shame because the Bulgarian Prime Minister spoke in front of an empty hall in the EP, explained Kostadinov. According to him, our country has hardly received a greater symbolic humiliation in the last few years than what it received now with the statement. Shameful, because his speech overflowed with hollow, propaganda clichés, classic references to Russia, the USSR, said Kostadinov, who commented in detail on the Prime Minister’s speech.

Denkov gave a speech in which he called for our country to be joined to Schengen as soon as possible, because, according to him, this way we would be protected from hybrid Russian attacks, said the leader of “Vazrazhdane”.

The empty chairs in the hall are clearly the assessment given in Brussels to the Bulgarian Prime Minister and his government, says the declaration.

In his speech, according to Kostadin Kostadinov, Denkov allowed himself to rewrite Bulgarian history. From the political “türlyugyuvech”, in which Churchill’s quotes were occasionally used, Denkov concluded that by protecting Ukraine, we are protecting Europe, noted the leader of “Vazrazhdane”.

Finally, it is unknown to whom, Denkov thanked for the support for our acceptance into Schengen and the Eurozone, Kostadinov also pointed out.

As long as “such persons rule our country, Bulgaria has absolutely no positive prospects for development, we will never be able to be a full-fledged member of the family of European nations – our country will be perceived as second, third category not only in the EU, but also in map of the world,” the Revival statement concluded.
