Kostadin Paskalev: GERB made a mistake with the promotion of Hekimyan

/Pogled.info/ “I was convinced that we would go to a runoff,” said the chairman of the coalition council of the “Left”

“I was convinced that we would go to a runoff. How will the change be implemented – it became clear in these elections – GERB was not admitted to a runoff in a clear and emphatic way. It happened in the best way. GERB made a mistake by promoting Hekimyan as a candidate for mayor. It is a mystery to me what Mr. Borisov thinks about the past elections.”

Kostadin Paskalev, the chairman of the coalition council of the “Left”, stated this in “Lice v Lice”.

According to him, the people of Sofia have not accepted the GERB model in the last 18 years.

“We put forward the right person, the right ideas and organized our campaign properly. That’s why we got to the runoff. Those who voted in the capital are currently around 250,000, there are still around 500,000 who did not vote. Vanya Grigorova will direct his ideas to reach these 500,000 citizens”, Pascalev added.

According to him, the behavior of the PP has something to do with the decrease in voter turnout in these local elections.

“PP fought against DPS, Boyko Borisov and GERB and at one point they became coalition partners. Don’t you realize how absurd it sounds for Delyan Peevski to shape the government’s agenda. Like what? This schizophrenic behavior of the PP to be against GERB and DPS, but also to be in a coalition with them or to govern jointly leads to the fact that voters’ trust in the political entities is reduced,” commented the chairman of the coalition council of the “Left”.
