Foxy Lady, Hippo, Kosmos, Minotaur and Wizard competed tonight to redeem their ticket for The Big Bang. Mushroom, Mummy, Raven and Lion are already sure of their place. They sang for their lives last week.

At the detective desk this week Kevin Janssens, Julie Van den Steen and Bart Cannaerts tried to find out the identity of the Masked Singers together with a mystery sleuth. For some, the lights seemed to come on during several performances. “I said I was 98% sure about someone, but now I’m at 100%,” Julie says promisingly.
The singers of the evening also threw themselves 100% into their performance. To cash in on her spot, Foxy Lady went for a bold choice this time. She sang ‘Don’t Go Yet’ by Camila Cabello, a song in which there is also a lot of dancing. Her sultry salsa moves, however, threatened to go completely wrong when she approached the edge of the stage and almost fell off…
For one Masked Singer, however, fate really struck: Kosmos had to leave the program. Behind the mask was none other than – no, not Ingeborg! – Siska Schoeters is. Julie, who had already had Siska in her sights for several episodes, was right. “I hesitated for a long time to participate,” she says. “I was super insecure. Singing in front of people is very different from talking in front of people. That is much more personal. And when you’re nervous, it affects your voice much faster. I really liked it. I had planned from the first show: I’m going to enjoy this. I didn’t want to look back and regret: fuck it, I just do it.” Although she admits that she would rather have had a different package: “I wanted to be Hippo!” she laughs.
