Cha Jun-hwan of the men’s singles ranked second in the short program and first in the free skating, scoring a total of 23 points, contributing greatly to Korea’s (95 points) second place following the United States’ (120 points).

Cha Jun-hwan said, “Thanks to the hard work of my teammates until the second day of the competition, the overall team ranking was high. He wanted to finish with good grades as much as he did his acting at the end.
