Korean and Japanese Contestants Dominate at the 1st Asian Breakdance Championship

The 1st Breakdance Championship in Asia ended with Korean and Japanese contestants winning the men’s and women’s championships

On the evening of July 2, the 2023 WDSF Asian Breakdancing Championships of the “Charm of Hangzhou” National Excellent Life Cup came to an end at the Gymnasium of Gongshu Canal Sports Park.

After two days of intense pursuit, Korean and Japanese players won the men’s and women’s championships respectively.

The first place in the women’s group, Japan’s Ayumi Fukushima competition

The second place in the women’s group, Japanese player Yuasa Ami in the competition

Chinese players Shang Xiaoyu and Yuan Xiangyu won the second and fourth places in the men’s group respectively, and Liu Qingyi won the fourth place in the women’s group.

It is understood that this event is the first Asian Breakdance Championship and also the 2024 Paris Olympic Points Competition. A total of 116 players from 13 teams from 13 countries and regions compete for the highest honor of Asian Breakdancers.
