“Korean-American Family Among Victims in Texas Mall Shooting”

According to the Dallas Branch of the Consulate General in Houston, a Korean couple in their 30s, Mr. Jo and Mr. Kang, and their 3-year-old child were shot dead at the scene of a shooting that occurred at the Allen Premium Outlets in the suburbs of Dallas on the 6th local time.

Another 5-year-old child who was with him was seriously injured and is being treated at the hospital.

Dallas residents were reported to have suffered a disaster while out shopping over the weekend.

At around 3:30 pm local time on the 6th, a 33-year-old man, Mauricio Garcia, opened fire in the parking lot in front of the outlet, killing eight people and wounding at least seven others.

The gunman was also shot and killed by police at the scene.
