The airliner managed to land at the airport about an hour after the scheduled arrival time after three landing attempts due to bad weather, but it passed the runway and stopped in the bushes.
There were 162 passengers and 11 crew members on the passenger plane. Parts of the aircraft’s wheels and fuselage were damaged.
Passengers leave the airport and transfer to a local hotel.

Korean Air is investigating the exact cause of the crash and will send out a replacement flight to pick up passengers who were planning to return home on the plane.
