Korean Air brings A380 back to New York

The South Korean airline Korean Air will again be flying to New York with the Airbus A380 in the future.

At the beginning of the second half of the year, another airline, Korean Air, is using the A380 to New York simpleflying. From the hub of the South Korean airline, Seoul-Incheon Airport, there are daily super jumbo flights to the US metropolis.

The super jumbo will fly to New York from July

Korean Air is one of the few airlines that has also used the Airbus A380 during the corona pandemic. Despite the planned phasing out of the superjumbo in the next 4 years, the airline will add another A380 route. In addition to the existing Seoul – Guangzhou route, the connection to New York will be established from July 1st. Pending the October winter schedule, Korean Air will fly from Seoul Incheon Airport to New York-JFK on the A380. The airline has already confirmed the averaging, but points out that short-term flight plan changes can occur at any time. This can also lead to a sudden Aircraft Change, a change in aircraft type.

[We confirm] that our A380 fleet will be serving the JFK route, with the caveat that we are running a flexible fleet schedule to meet demand and operational fluctuations. The aircraft deployed on our network is subject to change for the foreseeable future.
