In 2021, Konstantin Kuzikovs started investing 50 euros a week in the stock market. The goal is to reach a capital value of 36,000 euros within ten years. Starting from January 2022, Raivis Vilūns has also started investing, but he uses much more profitable and risky financial instruments. You can find out how the portfolios of Konstantins and Raivjas are doing in this article, and you can find out about the plans and strategies of both investors in the program “Future Capital”.

“SEB Roboinvestora” portfolio continues to show positive results
- Invested: 4098.88 euros
- Capital value: EUR 4104.22 (change + EUR 24.84)
- Return on investment: +0.12% (change +0.6 pp)
Already two weeks ago, “SEB Roboinvestors” showed a positive result for the first time. During this week, the results worsened, but they are still a positive difference from the other “Future capital” portfolios.
Kuzikov’s portfolio yield slightly improved
- Invested: 4350 euros (changes +100 euros)
- Capital value: 4195 euros (changes +84 euros), incl. 3845 euros in shares and 350 euros in savings bonds
- Return on investment: -3.56% (change -0.29 pp)
Vilūn’s portfolio is stagnating
- Invested: 4350.55 euros
- Capital value: EUR 4300.20
- Investment return: -2% (-1% per week)
What happened to the “S&P 500” index during the week?
Last week, the “S&P 500” index increased by 14.67 points or +0.35%. It fell until Wednesday, but on Friday, when it was announced that Republicans and Democrats in the US government reached an agreement on increasing the national debt ceiling, it increased. This will certainly have a positive impact on market growth in the short term, but will not reduce inflation and the FRS will have to continue its rate hike strategy.
The Baltic market has been virtually stationary in recent months. Investors seem to be waiting for the end of inflation and for the overall sentiment in global markets to improve. This was observed last week as well. As the “LETA” agency reports, the Riga Stock Exchange index “OMX Riga” increased by 0.34% this week. Vilnius Stock Exchange index by 0.02%, while “OMX Tallinn” decreased by 1.03%.
The overall index of Baltic stock exchanges “OMX Baltic Benchmark GI” decreased by 0.49% this week.
Nothing exciting is happening in the world of cryptocurrencies either – the market is actually stagnant and the “gold standard” Bitcoin continues to have small ups and downs in the range of a few thousand dollars per unit.
Portfolio changes
The common situation with Kuzikov shares is as follows:
- 9 stocks continued to show positive returns
- After accounting for the platform, “retained earnings” continued to decrease from +36.34 to -8.04 euros.
- In the previous week, only 5 shares showed an increase in value, while 11 shares fell in value. The biggest growth was shown by MSFT (+0.3%) and GOOGL (+0.13%). The biggest decline was in PG (-0.22%) and V (-0.35%).
The situation with Vilūn Baltic shares is as follows:
- Five out of ten positions are positive and five are negative
- Positive growth for the total portfolio is +0.27%
The situation with Vilūn’s cryptocurrency portfolio is as follows:
- Two cryptocurrencies – “Bitcoin” and “Solana” show a decrease in value
- The biggest drop in value is “Solana” (-73.72%)
Kuzikov sold the last ETF and increased investments in energy
BATT was the last ETF and I will invest these funds in bonds. At the same time, I continue to follow my strategy and bought NEE and SHEL. This week, I continue to invest the money from the ETF in savings bonds, but I will invest 50 euros in the next segment – the food segment, writes the investor.
Vilūns continues to add to the Baltic portfolio
“It is likely that I will continue to buy shares of Baltic companies, especially those that are in the negative zone, with the hope of evening out the losses,” says Vilūns.
