Königsfeld: A ray of hope in difficult times for the music and costume association

In Neuhausen, too, the musicians of the music and costume association suffer from the consequences of Corona. Neither rehearsals nor performances are possible. Hope has given way to resignation in many places. So you are happy when there are positive things to report.

Laurin Ohnmacht, one of the apprentices in the association, passed the youth musician badge in bronze with outstanding performance. This was made possible by a pilot project of the brass band association. Due to the current regulations, no exams may take place in person. Therefore, a possibility was created, how pupils can take the exam online. In this way, Laurin was able to record the pieces on video with an examiner and sufficient safety distance.

This video then went online to a review panel. This rated the performance as very good. This was the reward for the young musician, who did not allow himself to be dissuaded from his goal even in the pandemic. The handover of the needle and certificate will take place in due course. On the club side, he received a small present from youth leader Alexandra Ströbele.
