Konami Announces Free Silent Hill: The Short Message Game and Teaser for Silent Hill 2 Remake

Konami announced Konami Digital Entertainment B.V Yesterday, we announced the new addition to the Silent Hill horror game series, as it was announced that Silent Hill: The Short Message is now available for free on the PlayStation 5 in the last PlayStation episode with a new teaser for the Silent Hill 2 remake.

SILENT HILL: The Short Message will take players on a new dark and twisted journey, and is now available for free on the PlayStation Store. In addition, a new teaser from development studio Bloober Team for the highly-anticipated Silent Hill 2 remake showed what players can expect from the new and improved combat system.

Follow Anita, the main character of Silent Hill The Short Message, who is invited by a friend to an abandoned apartment complex on the outskirts of the city.

As she explores her terrifying surroundings, she encounters a dark truth she had tried to forget and lock away. KONAMI previously announced several new games and different views that will usher in a new era for the horror series.

The Short Message is a bold, first-of-its-kind innovation for a new generation of Silent Hill fans, and with its surprise, free-to-play launch, it’s the perfect opportunity for new players to join the psychological horror franchise.

The new free game The Short Message is a short game with a complete story independent of previous and upcoming games in the series. The game takes place in the present time and deals with the topic of bullying on social media – a contemporary topic that is familiar in modern society.

This will be the latest addition to the series in over a decade. We hope that the new generation of players who were unable to experience the previous games in the series will experience the world of psychological horror that SILENT HILL is able to offer.

Take a deep breath and jump into the creative thinking that brought The Short Message to life in five behind-the-scenes videos with the director, cast, and development team.
