The “Supply” area, which includes the Mobile, IT and Consumer Electronics segments, is Komsa’s strongest in terms of sales. It was previously headed by Anne Jeck, who will be leaving the distributor after ten years at her own request to take a break.
Komsa has already found a successor as “Vice President Supply” who will start on January 1, 2025, but has not yet announced his name. It should be a “strategist with a high level of expertise in the digitalization context” who “previously was responsible for the international trading business of a leading manufacturer in the electronics and audio industry for many years,” according to a statement. He is intended to further advance the digitalization of the distribution business and expand gaming as a new business area.
In addition, as of January 1, 2025, Christof Legat will support the Executive Management Committee as Executive Vice President and authorized signatory. Since April 2024, he has been responsible for the Solutions business, which brings together the Unified Communications and Network Infrastructure business units as well as the Technical Assistance Center.
