In recent years, TV viewers across the country have been able to enjoy the series “Kompani Lauritzen”, where various celebrities are subject to the tough military regime of the colonel, Dag Otto Lauritzen (66).

In previous seasons, the series has been filmed in idyllic Åndalsnes, but earlier this year the news broke that the concept is moving to Voss, specifically Bømoen leir.

Must move

Now reporting Bergens Tidende that the “Kompanie Lauritzen” production will have to move the mud track, after several hikers in the area have reacted. The track was to be laid right next to a small pond in Bømoen, and several trees have been cut down in that connection.

A large pool has also been dug that is seven meters long, three meters wide and 70 centimeters deep. The pond next to the trail must be located in a nature conservation zone.

– We can no longer only focus on endangered species and ecosystems. We must let untouched nature remain untouched, says Benedicte Watvedt Skaug from the Nature Conservation Agency to BT.

– Incredibly, incredibly sorry

She believes that it is a step in the wrong direction to dig in the mire for a TV production.

Bad communication

Municipal manager in Voss herad, Torbjørg Austrud, claims that the municipality received a different plan for the area than the production company wanted to use.

– We take the blame for what has happened. This is due to poor internal communication, she says.
