Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov defeated Argentina’s Francisco Cherundolo in the quarterfinals of the Miami Open tournament. The match lasted 1 hour 15 minutes and ended with the score 6:3, 6:2 in favor of the Russian.
For the first time since 2019, Khachanov will play in the semi-finals of the Masters series tournament. His opponent will be Daniil Medvedev, who earlier today, on March 30, defeated the American Christopher Eubanks with a score of 6:3, 7:5.
Miami Open is a tournament in the prestigious ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 categories, its prize pool is $8.8 million. The competition will end on April 2.
