A 41-year-old man who is accused of shooting during an incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning in Kolonaki, was arrested in Acharnes by police officers of the Crime Prevention Team.
According to ELAS, the accused was found in a car with a 39-year-old woman. Inside the car, a carefully hidden pistol with 12 cartridges was found, as well as a small amount of cocaine, in the possession of the woman, who was also arrested.
Against the 41-year-old who was identified as being involved in the incident, a case file was filed for dangerous bodily harm combined with violation of weapons legislation and threat. The 39-year-old was arrested for violating the legislation on addictive substances.
As reported by ELAS, the arrested man, on the occasion of a verbal incident he had with a 27-year-old in a night club, went out to the junction of Herakleitos and Anagnostopoulos streets, where the 41-year-old threatened the 27-year-old with a knife, while at the same time unknown persons hit him with fists.
A friend of the same age of the 27-year-old, who tried to help him, was hit in the head, while at that moment two shots were fired, luckily, no one was injured by bullets.
Police officers of the Immediate Action, who rushed to the scene, after arranging for the transport of the injured to “Evangelismos”, during the autopsy at the site, they collected two shell casings.
The arrested were taken to the criminal prosecutor of Athens, while at the same time the ELAS investigation is ongoing for the full investigation of the case.
