Kollam: All Kerala Inter Bar Association Twenty20 Cricket Tournament organized by Kollam Bar Association has started. Minister J. Chinchurani inaugurated. Kollam Additional District Judge V. Udayakumar directly batted the minister’s bowling. The minister said that sports play a major role in the health care of the people.
Kollam Bar Association President Adv. Boris Paul welcomed. Secretary Adv. KB Mahendra, Adv. Anoop Mundaikkal also spoke. KBA Sports Club Chairman Adv. V. Vinod as the President. Teams from sixteen Bar Associations of Kerala are participating in the tournament. The final is on 12th of this month. As part of the tournament, a friendly match has also been organized between the Kerala Judicial Officers team and the Kollam Bar Association Veterans team.
The winners of the tournament will be awarded Advt. The Umayanallur K. Ramachandran Nair Memorial Trophy will be awarded. Runners up Adv. K. Gopish Kumar will present the memorial trophy. Best Player of the Tournament Adv. Mayanad K. Balakrishnan Memorial Trophy has also been instituted.
