Kolkata rape and murder case: CBI to submit report to Supreme Court today | Madam

NEW DELHI: RG Kar Govt of Kolkata. The CBI, which has investigated the brutal rape and murder of a trainee doctor in the medical college hospital, will submit the case status report to the Supreme Court on Thursday.

A bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra heard the case separately on Tuesday. The brutal rape and murder of a PG student doctor has led to protests and discussions across the country.

In the hearing on Tuesday, the Supreme Court had criticized the Bengal government for various shortcomings in handling the case and did not stop the attack on the hospital. The Bengal government will also submit a status report on the damage to the hospital on Thursday. The former principal of the hospital, Dr. The Supreme Court had also warned Sandeep Ghosh.

Chief Justice Chandrachud expressed deep concern and displeasure that the victim’s name and pictures were being circulated in the media. He pointed out that the safety of female doctors is a national interest and without that there is no principle of equality.
